Dental treatment

Each tooth consists of several layers. The outer part of the visible part of the tooth is called the enamel and the invisible part of what is in the jaw bone is called cement. The enamel represents the strongest part of the tooth and the first layer of protection. Below this layer is the dentin, it stretches along the entire tooth, not just the visible part. It is much softer and it consists of receptors for pain. In the center of the tooth is the pulp. It consists of blood vessels and nerve.

Caries, the main enemy of teeth, in most cases, attacks and destroys tooth enamel. For the passage of this first line of defense It takes a lot of time. If we then intervene, rehabilitation of teeth is usually very quick and painless. When caries passes through the enamel and into the dentin part of the tooth, destruction occurs much faster. At this stage, there are pains. Restoration of teeth is far more complicated now. If we don’t intervene at this stage, caries covers the pulp. In this case, the tooth requires a complicated, long-term treatment.

Treatment involves extracting the nerve, disinfection and obturation of root canals… Some teeth have one channel, some two, some three, some may have as many as four or five channels! Therefore, the healing process can be very complicated and sometimes even impossible.

Treatment of dental patient requires patience, great knowledge of doctors, quality instruments, materials, treatments for teeth and modern, usually digital, equipment. In this way, the largest number of teeth can be cured to the satisfaction of the patient and the doctor, and the tooth will regain it’s function. The principle of our practice is to try at all costs to preserve and avoid tooth extraction, of course, completely painless and comfortable for the patient.
